Application Work

Curatorial notes: This was the only writing sample that I submitted at the time of my job application.
I know that the requirements have since changed, but I thought this piece was a good representation
of my writing style and personality. Cheap Eat of the Week was a food review column that I started at Blush Magazine at FIT. I would search for restaurants with affordable food options and write about
the ambiance and meal. This was one of my first articles after I pitched the idea. I was proud to share this piece on my application because it gives great information in a personable way while also adding
a bit of humor. I think this piece relates to my tutor philosophy mostly because of the aspect of reliability.
