Curatorial notes: This short story was written for my Uncanny class. I was inspired by the feeling of wishing that I was someone else from time to time, especially as a result of being on social media often. I'm glad that I was able to channel that negativity into a fun yet disturbing piece. I was able to explore my creativity in the realm of strange. My main difficulty was working on the development of characters outside of my main one. When I received feedback from my professor and peers, it undoubtedly helped me to make this piece stronger.

Curatorial notes: I wrote this poem for my Creative Writing class. My writing was based on my hatred for wintertime. I love poetry but had not created any of my own for a while. It wasn't until I took this class that I began writing again. Similar to my Uncanny class draft, receiving feedback helped to make my final poem a lot better. I incorporated suggestions to take out a certain line that wasn't as impactful as the others. Also, I included more descriptive words to give the reader more imagery.
